Two doctors test positive for coronavirus in DG Khan

Punjab's Primary and Secondary Health Care department on Friday confirmed that two doctors involved in the battle against COVID-19 have been tested positive for the disease.
According to the spokesperson of the department, the doctors were performing their duties at the quarantine centre in Dera Ghazi Khan when they contracted the disease.
Both the doctors are out of danger, however, they have been kept in isolation for the safety of other people, said the department.
It is to be noted that, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan has risen to 1,235 on Friday after new cases reported in different parts of the country.
According to data, Sindh remains the worst affected province by the coronavirus in the country so far, with the increase in number of cases 429, Punjab cases stood at 408, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at 147, in Balochistan at 131, in Islamabad Capital Territory at 27, Gilgit-Baltistan at 91, while AJK reported 02.
Moreover, 09 deaths were confirmed so far in the country, three fatatlities reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, three in Punjab while one each in Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan.
Meanwhile, the total number of recovered patients in the country is 21.
