Coronavirus cases in Pakistan up to 245

The number of people infected with the coronavirus across the country has risen to 245 after confirming eight more cases in Punjab. 

Coronavirus has been diagnosed in 34 people in Punjab so far while 16 cases have been confirmed in Balochistan, 16 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, four in Islamabad and three in Gilgit-Baltistan. 

According to the Sindh government spokesperson, the number of people infected with the virus has increased to 172 after 17 new cases emerged in the province.
Two of the new cases are from Karachi, while 15 people have arrived in Sukkur from Taftan, he added

A death from coronavirus was reported in Punjab yesterday, but provincial health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid denied that the person undergoing treatment at Mayo Hospital was suffering from liver disease.

It is pertinent to mention here, Sindh government has decided to close shopping malls, restaurants and entertainment venues for 15 days in view of Coronavirus's growing cases in Sindh.
